Hey, what are they doing on RT 51 around Tomahawk? Hope their not putting in a passing lane cause that's the area were I can hit 120mph passing!

How does everyone like the new passing lanes they put on HWY 51 north of Tomahawk? I wonder when they will permanently make it four lanes all the way into Hazelhurst.

I know there are probably several people on this forum who start on I-90 or I-94 in Illinois to venture to the Northwoods. The Illinois Tollway does a good job with updating road construction reports, travel conditions, etc. |

The contruction north of Rockford is done. Just north of Madison there is construction, down to two lanes that cross over for about 7 miles. Never had a backup tho. They are still screwing around in Wausau slowed me down a few time, but no backups yet. There is one bridge repair just south of Wausua that has Petal to the metal.
