I very rarely ever list our trails, on the report on this site, as bad, fair, poor, good, great, or otherwise. Those levels are very much a matter of opinion. I try to describe what is out there and let each rider decide for themselves.
I have been criticized by some area businesses and a couple of other clubs for my reports, mainly concerning my reports on snow-tracks. On Snow Tracks, there is a window with the condition levels - closed, poor, fair, good, etc. Well some other individuals whom I will not name whine, because I might list our trails as poor, when other areas are saying fair OR I am saying fair when others are saying good.
I try to describe our trail's conditions through the eyes of a snowmobiler - NOT a business. I WILL NOT exaggerate conditions for the sake of any business. I tell it like it is. As I said, I try to describe the conditions and let everyone decide for themselves if they are traveling here to ride.
I have said this for a long time: You might get someone here right now with a lie or exaggeration but they might NEVER come back. You might lose a little business now with the whole truth but they will be customers for life! _________________ ______________________________________________________________________________
