As other reports have mentioned, we have two trail ratings at this time - very poor and very good. Pretty much anything exposed to the sun, heavily traveled, or worse yet - both - is absolute junk.
11/15 from Sayner out to the split, is mostly bare. Road routes have suffered. I was on the portage trail grooming it last Thursday night late and there wasn't much to work with then - so it cannot be very good now. It did get groomed again Friday and there was less yet to work with.
Trail 7 from Sayner to Star Lake is the same story - exposed to the sun = toast.
Its always this way this time of year. Without new snow, there is still some great riding to be had, but you have to grit your teeth while riding over crap to get there. _________________ ______________________________________________________________________________
