We did get a couple of inches of snow on Sunday night and Monday. This helped cover some of the areas that were almost all dirt. Overall, most areas are very good. Hopefully, the prediction for low thirties starting tomorrow are wrong. If we get very far into the thirties with sun and heavy traffic added in, it could absolutely destroy what we have. Enjoy it while you can.

Most lakes are now marked, but please stay on the marked path. Ice is still dangerously thin in some areas off the path where the snow is deep, especially closer to shore.

Wisconsin has already had 9 snowmobile fatalities. Please folks - use your heads and be careful out there. Do it for yourself, your families, and your fellow riders.
