Continued warm weather and sun have really done a LOT of harm to our trails. We have done what we could to keep them smooth, but to try and groom right now would do more harm to the grooming equipment than good to the trails. There are still areas that are really great, such as 11/15 from the Musky Hills (Muskellunge Rd) and toward Star Lake and Boulder. Trail 7 from Sayner to Star Lake is not good. Trail 7 from Star Lake and north is spotty. Trail 10 towards Eagle River is still OK in most areas. One of our worst sections is 11/15 from Sayner out to the 11/15 split.
We need fresh snow to work with. _________________ ______________________________________________________________________________

The good news is that there is snow in the forecast for this weekend. How much is yet to be determined. The only bad part is that we could get some rain as well. But if we get enough snow with the rain, this could set our base for the rest of the year.
I'll try to keep you all updated! _________________ ______________________________________________________________________________
