Warning Date: 7:41 PM CDT on July 27, 2010
WarningSum:...A Tornado Warning Remains In Effect For Southwestern Vilas County
Until 815 Pm Cdt...
Warning Message:At 738 PM CDT...National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated a
severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado. This dangerous
storm was located 6 miles northwest of Lac Du Flambeau...or 25 miles
east of Park Falls...moving east at 4 mph.
This dangerous storm will move across the area between Manitowish
Waters and Lac Du Flambeau between 740 PM and 800 PM.
Other locations impacted by this dangerous storm include Woodruff...
Arbor Vitae...Sayner...Star Lake and St germain.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
Take cover now. Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
sturdy building. Avoid windows. If in a Mobile home...a vehicle or
outdoors...move to the closest substantial shelter and protect
yourself from flying debris.
If on or near any lake in the warning area...get out of the water
and move indoors or inside a vehicle. If you can hear thunder...you
are close enough to be struck by lightning. In
addition...thunderstorms can produce large capsizing waves...even on
small bodies of water. Move into dock and seek safe shelter now.
Don't be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.

WarningSum:...A Severe Thunderstorm Warning Remains In Effect For Vilas County
Until 815 Pm Cdt...
Warning Message:At 742 PM CDT...National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated a
line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing Golf Ball size
hail...and destructive winds in excess of 80 mph. These storms were
located along a line extending from 12 miles southeast of Marenisco
to 8 miles northeast of Phillips...moving east at 35 mph. A Tornado
Warning also remains in effect for southwestern Vilas County until
815 PM. This is an extremely dangerous situation. Campers should seek
sturdy shelter away from tall trees now!!

Lac Du Flambeau and Boulder Junction around 750 PM CDT.

WarningSum:...Flash Flood Watch In Effect Until 3 Am Cdt Wednesday...
Warning Message:The National Weather Service in Green Bay has issued a
* Flash Flood Watch for portions of north central Wisconsin and
northeast Wisconsin...including the following areas...in north
central Wisconsin...Langlade...Lincoln...Oneida and Vilas. In
northeast Wisconsin...Florence...Forest and northern Marinette.
* Until 3 am CDT Wednesday
* heavy rain associated with a line of intense thunderstorms will
move southeast over the area this evening. 2 to 3 inches of rain
can be expected by midnight with even locally higher amounts
overnight.
* The heavy rain may overwhelm storm sewer systems...resulting in
significant urban flooding. Local streams...creeks and drainage
ditches may quickly become areas of fast moving water.

to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.
